Wen Moon / Wen Lambo β A half-joking way of asking when a token's price will finally take off.
2026 Update: Trading Behavior Terms
FUD β Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. Negative news or rumors, real or manufactured, meant to spook holders into selling.
Diamond Hands β Holding a position through extreme volatility without panic-selling. The opposite of paper hands.
Paper Hands β Selling at the first sign of trouble instead of holding through volatility.
Rekt β Short for "wrecked." What happens to your portfolio, and your mood, after a bad trade.
Alpha β Insider or exclusive information that gives you an edge before the wider market catches on.
Sniping β Using bots or fast manual execution to buy a token in the first seconds after launch, before slower buyers can react.
DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging) β Investing a fixed amount at regular intervals regardless of price, to smooth out volatility over time.
2026 Update: New-Era Mechanics
DAT (Digital Asset Treasury) β A public company holding crypto as a core treasury asset instead of just cash, a structure that went fully mainstream in 2026.
Bonding Curve Launch β A token launch mechanic where the price rises automatically as more people buy, before the token even hits a public exchange.
Airdrop Farming β Actively completing tasks across wallets and protocols specifically to qualify for free token distributions.
Gas Wars β When transaction fees spike because everyone's rushing to interact with the same contract at once, usually during a hot mint or launch.
PvP vs. PvE β PvP means competing directly against other traders in a zero-sum market. PvE-style plays mean earning through protocols instead β staking, lending, liquidity provision β rather than trading against people.
